A New Reality

Are we living in a new reality or are we living in the past or are we just fooling ourselves?

Sometimes I wonder if we humans will survive to make it to the 22nd Century.

We have so many differences between our Religions, beliefs and politics that we go to war with those we think are wrong  and or not like us in our daily life.  Lots of lives have been lost in the name of Religion and for what?  A piece of land, a City, money, how to pray, what Day to worship, rights of women and a lot more that we don’t have enough time to mention much less talk about.

Another question I have is why are there so many Denominations of the Christian Religion? Everyone of the Denominations or Religions can’t be right, so how do you know which is right? I know this one can take a long time to talk about since all of them think they are right.

At times it seems that all most people care about are themselves and not about others. I was at a party the other night and since I have voice problems snd people right next to me have truble hearing me I was doing my usual observing of people.  All I kept thinking was “the people I was watching are living lives of quit desperation”. Some people spend their entire lives searching for answers to questions for which they may never know the answer. Sometimes they may not be asking the right questions.

How old is the Universe? How old is Earth? To hear some talk they think the Earth is only 6-9 Thousand years old. They base this number of years on generations in the Bible. While others think it is Millions or Billions of years old. Who is right?  I guess it depends on what Religion you are or are not and whether you believe in Science and carbon dating or God.

I think we are just fooling ourselves for us to think we have all the answers when we can’t even get along and love and care about our fellow humans on Earth regardless of who they are and what they believe and where they live.
